Whenever I am looking for a new recipe to try, my first stop is usually Allrecipes.com because when I find what I want I can save it to my favorites.
On Monday, Memorial Day I decided to look for a Cinnamon Roll recipe that could be started in a bread machine. The one I decided on was Cinnamon Rolls II. I have to say, this is by far the Best dough recipe I have found for making Cinnamon Rolls. The cooked rolls were tender and soft and just so yummy.
I course I tweeted it a bit to match the ingredients I had on hand. I did not have regular milk on hand so I substituted Goat Milk and had a handful of Sliced Almonds that needed to be used so replaced the Walnuts with that . I used Brown Sugar for the filling rather than the White sugar .
When I took them out of the oven, I put icing one one of them, but decided they were so good and soft that they didn't need any icing.
I realized this morning as I was coming into the office to work that I had forgotten to put the Cinnamon in the recipe.
So now what do I call those wonderful Sweet Rolls? "Gone" I guess.
Below I have included a link to the Cinnamon Roll Recipe for you to copy and paste. Hope you make your own and enjoy them as much as we did.
New to me.
